Most Anticipated New Book Releases

The first half of 2025 has been full of so many notable new releases, and I have read so many excellent books. The last half of 2025 is full of some of my most anticipated reads for the year, and I cannot wait for them to come out!!

I read the first book, Lights Out, a few months ago, and it is one of my top reads this year. Josh is the epitome of a perfect unhinged book boyfriend.

Contemporary Romance

The Defender by Ana Huang

Release Date: October 28th

The Defender is book two in the Gods of Game Series, which is an interconnected standalone. The first book, The Striker, follows a different couple.

Fantasy/Paranormal Romance

Release Date: June 10th

Hour of the Pumpkin Queen by Megan Shepherd

Release Date: July 8th

Hour of the Pumpkin Queen in the Long Live the Pumpkin Queen series.

Brimstone by Callie Hart

Release Date: November 18th

Brimstone is the second book in the Fae & Alchemy series, which continues the story of Saeris Fane and Kingfisher.

Quicksilver must be read first!

The deluxe edition of Quicksilver will be releasing August 19th

Mate by Ali Hazelwood

Release Date: October 7th

I read Bride, the first book in this series, and I enjoyed it. It was a spicy and fun werewolf/vampire romance. Both books follow different couples and have completely different storylines.

Cosy Fantasy

Recipes for an Unexpected Afterlife by Deston J. Munden

Release Date: October 14th

This book appears to be a cozy read, full of friendship and romance, and I’m eager to read it!

I have been having a fantastic year of reading, and I know these new book releases are going to be excellent choices for the second half of the year!!
