October TBR

HAPPY OCTOBER

Currently, I am sitting on my couch and watching Twilight as I write this post. This weekend was incredibly relaxing, which I needed. I hope this first October weekend went terrific for everyone.

Who here is excited for this spooky month? I am so excited for October because it’s the beginning of the holiday season. Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. This is truly my favorite time of the year, and what better way to start the celebrations than to read some fun, spooky and paranormal books.

Gentle Scars by Willow Winters

Gentle Scars is the second book in the Wounded Kiss series. Unfortunately, this book doesn’t come out until October, 5th but I was lucky enough to grab the ARC version. I finished this book in two days. I seriously couldn’t put it down and cannot wait for the third book in this series to come out next year. This series is perfect because who doesn’t love a werewolf romance?

Crave Series by Tracy Wolff

Does this choice even need an explanation?

Crave, Crush, and Covet are the first three books in the Crave series, with two others coming out next year. This series has been on my TBR list for months now, and I believe this is the perfect time to start. Who doesn’t love vampires and other paranormal characters?

House of Earth and Blood (Crescent City) by Sarah J. Maas

I have been intimidated by this book for months because I know it will shatter me, but I am finally ready to dive in. Especially since the second book, House of Sky and Breath, will be released at the beginning of next year.

This is a great paranormal book to read because it follows a half-fae and half-human who is trying to seek revenge in a world full of magic while also trying to find herself in the midst of it all.

Girl, Serpent, Thorn by Melissa Bashardoust

I am currently a quarter of the way into this book, and I am enjoying it.

A princess cursed and hidden away sounds like the perfect spooky read for this October.
